City Council votes to block Edgewater proposal

At 5:15am, after 9 hours of hearings, the Madison City Council voted 12-5 (3 absent) to overturn the Landmarks Commission block of the project. The 12 votes was 2 short of the 14 needed as a supermajority to overturn the Landmark Commission ruling.

December is here, and the snow accumulation builds. Weather experts are calling for a major snow storm on Tuesday and continuing into Wednesday. Total snow fall is predicted to be 8 to 12 inches. Plan accordingly and allow for extra travel time.
