Madison’s Winter Festival
Since the Winter Olympics are all over the TV, why not get outside and enjoy Madison’s very own Winter Festival? This weekend, February 20 and 21st, the grounds around the State Capitol will be transformed into the venue.
Free public cross-country skiing is open throughout the weekend. And there are outdoor events for both participants and spectators, including a children’s tubing hill, freestyle snowboard competition, snowshoeing, 5K running race, dog jog and cyclo-cross bicycle racing.
